I love the way you do makeup! Definitely admirable. I was wondering what lashes you prefer and any tips you have on applying/maintaining them. Thank you!

Thank you! I actually really like MAC’s collection of eyelashes, they’re great quality & I find myself able to use them atleast 6-8 times which is great considering they’re $12 a set. If you think about it, you really get your money’s worth as opposed to purchasing the cheaper low quality lashes at $4 for 1-2 uses.

I also like Red Cherry lashes which are also human hair & are about $5. They last through about 4-5 uses if taken care of properly. You can find them at random beauty-related places or online.

As for tips on applying them, I don’t use any other lash glue but the DUO brand which you can find at your local MAC counter or even at the pharmacy (CVS/Rite Aid) at times. You can use a toothpick to apply the glue evenly on on lash, then give it about 20-30 seconds to become stickier. If you apply your lash straight on without letting it become tacky, it will just be slippin’ & sliding on your eyes which you do not want!

Apply the outer part of the eyelid first then proceed to stick on the inner part. If you have long nails and find this difficult you can use a pair of tweezers for precision.

Hope this helps! x

Playing with purples

Hi everyone & happy December! Sorry for the lack in updates on this page lately - if I’m not mistaken I haven’t posted since Halloween, which I apologize for. But I’m back & wanted to post some purple looks I’ve worked with lately. It’s such a great way to make brown/dark eyes stand out. Check it out!
